Print of a chicken leg in the shape of a Christmas tree. The artwork is related to a prevoius performance, “The Boy and the Bird.” In 1984 Emmett was artist-in-residence for a month, during which he composed the book, Dada Handshakes, Illustrated with Prints of Chicken Feet and Duck Feet, from the markets of Vancouver’s Chinatown. The idea came to him while eating Dim Sum at a Chinese Restaurant and being served Chicken Feet.
