The artist revisits history and aesthetics that draws from Meso-American iconography as well as European modernism and the Italian avant-garde and reinterprets them anew by focusing on the most essential elements and components of these languages and traditions. In doing so, he creates a new and unique vocabulary, while at the same time recalling the many stories and references from which he has drawn.
