About the early music boxes: "There was a discount toy store on Canal Street where I got my instruments from, the owner was a very good person who would find toy violins, drums, etc... for me and sell them to me wholesale [...]. The motors came from another store on Canal Street that sold things no one could possibily use, but somehow manage to sell, like my motors which were originally ment for a cheep tape recorder before the manifacture went bankrupt and they ended up on the street." - Joe Jones, "History of the Music Bike and Other Stories"
